Winter Piano Recital 2022 [2nd set]

Congratulations! We had another wonderful performances on Sunday, December 11th at 2:30 PM! 13 students performed their favorite songs! 

Opening Bells with handbells performance! Everyone rang a bell to make a music "Jingle Bells" and "Deck the Halls" together! Great teamwork! Thank you!

The first performer was Andrew! He has a lot of repertoires and super eager to learn music! He performed "Overture from Nutcracker" and "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree". Great job, Andrew!

The second performer was Max! He asked me if he can try one of his favorite pieces for this concert. I said yes but a little bit challenging. He agreed and started practicing so hard! The songs was "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer". He also performed "Silent Night" and "Deck the Halls" too! Great progress, Max!

The third performer was Fafa! It was her first recital. She performed "Twinkle Twinkle Little Stars", "Jolly Old Saint Nicholas", and "Jingle Bells". We really enjoyed! Great job, Fafa!

Elise performed many pieces from Nutcrackers! March, Dance of the Sugarplum Fairy, Arabian Dance, Dance of the Redd Flutes. Then she played "Joy to the World" with her dad! She was really eager to learn and almost finishes Nutcracker piano book! Congratulations!!

Emma played "Dreidel Song", "Jingle Bell Rock", and "Frosty the Snowman". These are all her favorites! She always sings and plays with fun! How musical! Great job Emma!

Natalie is Emma's older sister. We planned to play a duet with Emma this year! Natalie played "Carol of the Bells" and "Jingle Bell Rock", then Emma & Natalie played "Santa Claus is Coming to Town". It was their first ensemble but great job!

Norah performed "Angels We had Heard on High", "The Little Drummer Boy", and "Silent Night". It was her first recital since she missed Halloween Recital due to sick! She was very excited and played wonderfully! Congratulations!!

Liam picked one of his favorite Christmas songs "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer". He practiced even though he was away to Vermont for vacation! Great music passion, Liam! He played with nice rhythm and tempo. Thank you, Liam!

Olivia performed "Angels We had Heard on High" and "Carol of the Bells". She played both songs with nice harmonies with LH. We really enjoyed her performance. Thank you, Olivia!

Ian played "Joy to the World" and "Dance of the Sugarplum Fairy". He has a lot of repertoires too! This year, he really wanted to play one of his favorites from Nutcracker. Great job!!

Catherine is Olivia's older sister. She played "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" and "God Rest Ye Merry, Gentleman". She practiced so hard and finally made it! Great performance!!

Emmie performed two pieces from Nutcracker, "Dance of the Sugarplum Fairy", "Dance of the Reed Flutes" and "Carol of the Bells". She did total three pieces successfully! Congratulations!

The last performer was Lily. She is older sister of Emmie. Lily decided to challenge this challenging piece "Flower Dance" from Nutcracker. Also, she enjoyed practicing "Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!" and performed successfully! Great performance!! 

Lastly, Ms. Reiko played "Carol of the Bells" as a teacher's performance.

Everybody received a medal & a certificate and a small recital gift from Ms. Reiko!
